Black Mountain Nordic Launches new website

Black Mountain Nordic launched its redesigned website to better serve skiers, volunteers, and community partners in the Sheridan-area Nordic community. The new site highlights trail conditions, grooming updates, events, and Nordic skiing information in a clearer, more mobile-friendly format, making it easier for visitors to find what they need quickly. It also provides a more streamlined way for supporters to get involved—through volunteering, donations, or event participation—while showcasing the organization’s role in maintaining and promoting local Nordic ski trails.

APPROACH

Black Mountain Nordic approached Big Shifter for help. They needed a new look and feel for their website that aligned with their new name and branding, which they had been working on for a while. We worked side-by-side with them to create a unique website that gave their organization a fresh look and feel, delivering information about their services.

SOLUTION

Big Shifter built its new website on WordPress. Their old site was already on the platform, so it helped that we migrated it to the latest version and were able to train their staff on an already familiar interface. We used a theme from Kadence WP as a starting point and customized it using their new logo, content, and branding colors to give it a one-of-a-kind design.
