Sheridan Longarm Website and Online Store

CHALLENGE

Sheridan Longarm is a new small retail business in Sheridan, Wyoming. Heather and Woody Addison pulled up stakes in Texas and moved their family and fantastic business idea to Sheridan Wyoming. Their vision includes selling the best quilting machines in the world built by Innova Quilting Systems . In addition to selling and supporting these world-class machines, Sheridan Longarm strives to be involved in the local community helping individuals and organizations create amazing quilts through education, machine rentals and selling quilting notions and supplies.

They were building their brand and online presence from scratch and contracted Big Shifter to help them build their website and online store.

APPROACH

I worked with Heather and Woody in the early stages of the project during our Project Discovery Phase. We talked about Sheridan Longarm, its goals and objectives and what they wanted to achieve with their online presence.

SOLUTION

We implemented a WordPress site which included a content authoring, branding, integrating a custom Innova quilting machine configurator and content management training. The site is hosted with our hosting partner Flywheel (getflywheel.com) and the online store was built in Square. Sheridan Longarm chose to use Square as their in-store point of sale system and it made sense to leverage Square’s online store platform to sell their products via the web.
